
Central Ozarks Practical Shooters (COPS) operates as a cold range, (no loaded firearms until under the direct supervision of a range officer). Eye and ear is protection required. COPS matches are open to the public (annual membership is not required). Spectators are encouraged and have no admission fee. Located at 23455 County Road 7640, Newburg, MO 65550 COPS is a little bit of a drive off the beaten road, but not insurmountable.

Please note, COPS has opted to longer post its monthly match schedule on Practiscore ahead of the event, relying instead on its Facebook page to post events, announcements, or information. I have attempted to build the COPS match information into the RSS feed as to the best of my ability.

Steel Matches
- Third Saturday of each month, except June
- STEEL “Club” Match Fees – Members and Non-Members: $10
- Note: .22 rimfire pistol or carbine is an option in the SCSA STEEL competition. If using 22 rimfire pistol, start position is from the “low ready” instead of drawing from the holster.
Additionally: You may also compete in the PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) carbine division. - Reminder: Youth 18 and under shoot FREE at COPS matches!
- Registration @ 8:15 / Shooters meeting @ 9:00
- New shooters to COPS and USPSA “Unclassified” shooters will need a “range safety orientation” before being allowed to participate in COPS competitions. Notify management @ or before registration to arrange a COPS Gun Range safety orientation.
USPSA
- First Sunday of each month (except for April and October), September is a Classifier
- USPSA “Club” Match Fees – Members $12 and Non-Members: $15
