Well, I’ve offically crossed the 21st account deletion – on the first day of 2024 no less.

The odd part is I wasn’t even active for most of the day. My online activity tracker even says my screen time is down 50% this week. I hadn’t posted a meme or made any comments since getting this newest account just five days ago after the last random deletion. I it really does feel as if the AI in Facebook is just blanket deleting anything from my IP that matches my previous account friends/family, regardless of any activity (let alone if it does/doesn’t violate the ToS).

Demonstrating the pure one-sided aspect of Facebook v Instagram, despite both being owned/operated by Meta, the HGM IG account is just fine. But it seems as if the public square of Facebook is decidedly NOT “free” if someone (i.e. me) can’t even just say “hi” to friends and basically live their lives on it.
