
In recognition of Elisjsha Dicken, 22, of Seymour, Indiana who single-handedly stopped an active shooter at the Greenwood Park Mall on 17 July, 2022. Dicken, who is credited with saving multiple lives, identified the shooter and engaged him within 15-seconds of the attack–scoring 8 hits out of 10 rounds fired. As a result of Dicken’s quick thinking, only three individuals inside the food court were killed when undoubtedly the intent of the shooter was to take as many lives as possible. In recognition of Dicken’s actions; the Dicken’s Drill uses a single USPSA silhouette target to recreate the scenario and is conducted from concealment.
