Developmental Drill: The Eleanor Standard

The drill utilizes a low-round count so that precision, transition, and target acquisition are emphasized.

Pistol: (1×4 round magazine)

  • Distance: 3m
  • Par time is regardless of from the OWB draw, or concealed.
  • At buzzer:
    • 1 round to 1″ circle.
    • Transition, 3 rounds to reduced A-Zone
  • Par time for pistol: 2.5 seconds

Carbine: (1×4 round magazine)

  • Distance: 5m
  • Start Position: Low Ready (should be able to see bottom of target over sights)
  • At buzzer:
    • 1 round to 1″ circle.
    • Transition, 3 rounds to reduced A-Zone
  • Par time for pistol: 2.5 seconds
